I wrote this song "I Don't Care Anymore" in 2008 when I was having an extremely difficult week where everyone that I was dealing with was breaking promises, saying that they were going to do something, but did not. Everything that could go wrong that week did. I personally was just totally fed up with all of the BS from everyone I encountered that week. So, I sat down, grabbed a pen, paper, and my acoustic guitar and wrote “I Don’t Care Anymore”. Of course I still cared or I would not have taken the time to write this song. However, is sure felt darn good writing and singing “I Don’t Care Anymore”…the kind of good feeling of relief you get when you through a glass bottle against a brick wall. It was great! The weeks after writing this song were much better. Actually, having some bad days really made me appreciate the good days that followed even more.
